I'm happy to share my positive experience with Carsten and Gomax Solar. Carsten was wonderful about explaining solar and the installation process. His quote was so much less than the others we received we were able to increase the size of the system we purchased from him. I think best of all he made the process very simple, handling all of the permits, being on time, and being done in just one day without any issues at all. I highly recommend Gomax Solar.

Gomax was the simple choice for us when it came to installing solar. I received 5 bids overall and dug in deep on three of them. Every bid was professionally done, and every person I spoke with was polite and pleasant. But only Carsten at Gomax could directly answer my most important questions. With everybody else it was a back and forth of “I’ll find out and get back to you.” Once I made my decision, Gomax was able to schedule the install weeks sooner than anyone else. And they were able to install the system in one day instead of several as others proposed. They took care of everything regarding plans and permitting with no effort on my part. When Carsten visited, he explained everything about the install and detailed exactly how he was connecting into our electrical panel. When the inspector came out, Carsten walked him through the system and we received our sign off. I have looked at solar a few times in the past but never pulled the trigger. The process and the contracts were just too complex for the expected savings. Gomax though kept everything straightforward and on track. I recommend you give them a serious look.

I would like to thank Carsten and his team @ Gomax Solar for their excellent workmanship and professionalism.They offered competitive pricing and had great communication. Getting a solar system installed was daunting but they made going solar a breeze, from beginning to end. We had an issue with our Enphase Gateway, an immediate replacement unit was ordered and it was immediately replaced to get us up and running. Gomax also replaced our main electrical panel and it's now more robust and safe. If you're looking to go solar, look no further than Gomax.

Working with Carsten was easy! Very straight forward, no gimmicks, and he knows his product. Didn't have to wait to see when the electrician could check out my panel since Carsten did it all! We have used Gomax Solar twice now! We used them for our home in Benicia and Carsten did a great job of getting us a system that produced what we needed to not have a monthly energy bill. We then moved to Vacaville and without hesitation, we called Carsten to install a system for our home. He and his team are very nice, knowledgeable, and professional! It is very easy to work with them! He takes care of everything from design, to permitting, to installation, and hooking the system up with PG&E. We would highly recommend them!

I was lucky enough to discover Gomax while I was in the process of fielding bids for my residential solar installation. They were by far the best value, and very flexible and attentive in determining an optimal configuration for my home. They handled the whole process, permits, inspection, and very graciously adapted to some unforeseen circumstances discovered during installation. I am thrilled with the final result, and have been recommending them to everyone who has any interest or need for solar work. If you are thinking of doing solar for your home, it would be a mistake not to get a proposal from Gomax.

Couldn’t be happier with the cost, quality and efficiency of the solar panels installed, and the monitoring program that comes with it. It was installed a few months before the lockdown, and even with everyone home our settle up at the end of the year was about $100. Carsten does excellent work. I highly recommend Gomax Solar.

Gomax Solar Inc. installed a 9 KW system on our roof in a fraction of the time that the bigger companies were quoting AND for a lot less money. At first, I was so concerned that I should use a bigger company like Tesla - and look now Tesla is getting out of some of the solar. I am so glad we met Carsten. He is super smart, great customer service, gave a great value, and I LOVE my Solar System. I am making money from the Sun. I feel so happy to be cutting my draw from PGE down. Gomax Solar did an excellent job installing our solar panels! Carsten, the owner, made the entire process seamless and easy. I was a little nervous about working with such a new company, but have no regrets choosing them. We also received a quote from a large solar panel company, but
Gomax Solar charged a much fairer price and we wanted to support a local business. We met with Carsten a couple of times before signing the contract to review the design plans and ask questions. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and provided thorough explanations. He was
patient with answering our questions and promptly responded to all follow-up emails. The installation took a little more time than expected, but Carsten kept us informed the whole time and he took his time to ensure everything was properly done. He was great to work with throughout the process and provided detailed documentation of the design and wiring. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials and workmanship. It's been about one month since our system has been in operation and we are very happy with our production so far! I wouldn't hesitate to work with Carsten again and highly recommend Gomax Solar!
